why do you american people so care about where their own people came from? whenever i go what i hear about is "is your dad irish?" "is your mom chinese?" "are you mixed?"

i don't understand it.

america is the country that is standing for all people in the world.

why do you so care about how we are so different?

we are all american anyways.

dosen't matter if someone's black or white.

we are all the same.

and i saw someone ask somebody do you want to be mixed?

or do you wanna kill obama?

don't you so afraid that you're gonna be beated up when you walk to the streets?

what the h**l is that about?

i'm not an american i'm a foreign exchange student.

it's just so wrong and different what i used to think of.

  1. This is America and that is why we care. I love to find out about people's backgrounds not in a bad way but because I want to find out where they came from. Just because we live here doesn't mean we forget about our roots. And we're all American but we don't have the same morals, loyalty, or lifestyles. We are not the same. Although in a perfect world everyone would be treated the same we're not. And even though it seems like it we live in an old fashioned society where there will be prejudices.

  2. Cause America aint a country of one people yet no matter how much they try cover it up with their over patriotic ways its just a cover for their race sensitivity and divisions

But then again not All Americans are right

  3. People are just curious about their heritage. Nothing wrong with that. Yes, you're all American - which means that unless your a native, everyone can trace their ancestors back to a different country. Why are you so offended about other peoples curiousity? Its really only a problem if you're being discriminated against because of your ethnicity, but that isn't really your question.

  4. Search Yahoo Answers for the Global Poverty Act, and you'll see hostility toward The Other that's far greater than you're describing.
