i mean, i am english (i prefer it to being american, not being offensive) but i would like to know, why every american person/tv show that mentions fox, always makes it to be bad??

could anybody please explain to me why it is hated so much?

or is it all one big joke? i have seen it on shows like family guy, simpsons, futurama, and just random americans on chatrooms!

  1. In the media industry for ages, fox has represented liberal media and the degeneration of society as a structure most would say. Myself, I hate TV and don't watch it that much.

  2. Well, the shows on Fox do it as sort of a running joke.  This goes back even before the Simpsons with shows like "Married...With Children".

Much of Fox's programming over the years has catered to depravity...shows centered around the "shock" factor or intended to offend or disgust.

Then there is the Fox News Channel, which claims to be "fair and balanced", but is actually unabashedly conservative.  They only give four minutes for debate on a topic, the hosts talk over top of the guests, the guests talk all at once, they routinely take things out of context, etc.

It isn't that other news shows don't use some of the same tactics, but they don't do it to the same extent and don't claim to be "fair and balanced".

  3. You have been seeing America via college campuses too much.  It is the most popular network in America.  Keep in mind, one of the worst ways to see America is by going to a state run school here.  They do not represent the people at all, only those who can't get real jobs.
