Because we Americans have been duped into thinking that, if you pump billions and billions of dollars into the education system, it will magically get better. However, instead of getting good teachers, we get new gyms, computer labs, and lunch programs-- all of which may be beneficial in some ways, but are certainly not the axis of a good education. Moreover, teachers unions further the problem by making it impossible to reward good teachers and eliminate bad ones: bad teachers get paid just as much as good teachers. Therefore, on the teacher's part, there is no incentive to excel at teaching.

To protect your rights as an American learning English isn't an option it's a necessity. My ancestors learned the hard way. There isn't a need to forget your language by learning another one as it was in the past. There won't be laws making other languages unlawful ever again in America. Protect your rights, learn English and use your education as a battle cry.

La Raza got in the first punches early and hard.  Mexico was funding the process, and the stake for Mexico was over 20 billion a year headed south, sent by the illegal aliens in this country.  What we did not know at the beginning was how much money the illegal aliens were being paid in welfare.  California citizens have to been the worst singed tax payer in the world with San Francisco employers reaping the benefits of the welfare.

In any case.. they hollored racist, George Bush supported them, and those programs began appearing left and right.  

It staggers me that anyone could tell us Bush will be very highly thought of down the road.  He has harmed the United States a very great deal at this point.
