Why do animal rights people hate Native Americans?

The ones in the NW have hunted whales for thousands of years. Who are we to tell them their culture is wrong?

Because the suffering and killing i.e. taking the life of another living, feeling animal is WRONG. Just because something has been going on for a long time doesn't mean it's right. People have also killed people since the beginning of time so does that make it okay? The abolition of human slavery, for example, necessitated restructuring which is an ingredient in social progress.
