Do raw eggs have any great value besides protein and relatively low calorie counts? Is there something in them that athletes like for their training regimens and fitness?

  2. for protein.. it will be more without cook it. it will build your muscle.

  3. High protein, easy to prepare, obviously.

You are also risking food poisoning at the same time.

  4. That's an old school muscle building "lie" from the 50's.  It will only get you solminilla poisining.

  5. Absolutely nothing other than they are a pure source for protein. Nothing more to it. Can't get bigger without it.

  6. Eating raw eggs is part of an old-fashioned way of training for boxers, bodybuilders, and many athletes of the past. It is NOT widely recommended nowadays due to risk of Salmonella food poisoning.

Cooking the eggs (or any meat for that matter) destroys digestive enzymes, and will decrease their nutritional value. By eating them raw, they believe they're getting the optimal amounts of protein and nutrients.

Eggs are rich in vitamin B, especially vitamin B12, vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E and vitamin K.

The egg whites are 11% protein and contain essential amino acids,

The yolk contains vitamin A, D, E and K and minerals such as iron, calcium, and phosphorus.

Eggs should not be overcooked. Also eggs from free-range, organic fed hens are the healthiest eggs to eat.

  7. I just think that its a quick way to get a lot of protein depending on how many eggs you eat.
