This week a poor young innocent man was butchered while he slept on a Greyhound bus. After the incident, cops and authorities had praise for the passengers conduct. What did these 37 passengers do that was so praiseworthy? Confronted the lone butcher? Everyone through their shoes at the guy to distract him from harming the smaller victim? NO---THEY WE PRAISED FOR RUNNING AWAY---albeit in an "orederly fashion"! I am not brave or heroic and I don't know what I would have done at the moment, but to praise the passengers for fleeing makes my stomach turn. There was no "Tod Beamer" -- no "Let's roll" moment for his crowd. I don't blame them I guess--heroes are rare, but the comments from the authorities make me want to puke. What say you?
