Why do avatars have clothing & back grounds" when all you see on your suff is a face shot"?

this one said everything was spelled correctly when you see above ( SUFF )""!! SO I WENT BACK TO CORRECT IT AND IT SENT THE QUESTION OUT AGAIN"" SO NOW I HAVE A "DIDO" ?

If you use yim you get to see the whole of the avatar if you have that as a your picture

You can see only the face in this yahoo answers rite?

actually Yahoo is asking you to choose your fav clothing and backgrounds because, other than yahoo Answers, if you go for Yahoo 360 n also Yahoo Messenger, your full avatar along with background will appear on your chat friends' chat window and as well as your window.

just check that now,

You see the whole thing on the 360 page, as long as the individual has one.
