Why do babies cry so much?

you give them attention, you bath them, you feed them, you take them for walks and yet they still cry and this baby is grumpy why all the tears?

It's the only way they can communicate to you! Ok so you've done all that it could be something else...like I want a cuddle or I want you to leave me alone all at the same time...then you can't win...so they will keep crying!!!

because its the only way they can communicate, just like you would be able to say that something is bothering you, i pray for your baby

It's probably because of wind. My 3 week old does not cry for food, attention etc he just wiggles about and moans and groans. When he cries, which is not very often, I know it's because he has tummy pain so i wind him and all is well again!

The need for constant attention and security. Isn't that why they're called babies in the first place? You've got to 'baby' them.

It's not necessarily that they're grumpy but it's the only way they know how to tell you that they need something.  But you're right, sometimes all their needs have been met and they still cry.  Some babies will do this because of gas and the pain it causes them.  Some babies, after a long day of stimulation will do it as a form of release, much the same as you would come home from a long day of work and vent.  They eventually cry less and less as they get older and become able to express their emotions in other ways.

Baby's only way of communication. You should know what kind of cry your baby have. Their are different way of cries, cry for hungry, cry for wetness, cry for tiredness or cry for illness or being sick.

When you know your baby is full and dry then you can let her cry knowing that your just around and giving her a comforting words. When she's tired she will definitely fall asleep. Sometimes baby's like to hear their own cries and that entertains them too.
