Why do babies do this?

Why do babies smile so much when they're sleeping? It can't always be gas. My baby smiles so much in her sleep sometimes I'll look at her and she'll have a smile on her face for almost a full minute before she stops. Why do they do this?

Bbabies do dream when she is sleeping and smiles look at her eyes im sure they will be moving she is having a dream or maybe somethimes its gas but either way its still cute

I don't know why they do it, but I wish they would never stop. Its so darn cute. Every time he smiles in his sleep I can't help myself but smile.

It could be due to dreams or unstimulated reflex.

Trust me, NOBODY smiles when they have gas or gas pains.

Perhaps they enjoy sleeping? lol

I know I usually go to sleep smiling just because I'm under something warm, maybe your baby feels the same.
