They seem to be more happening to people with a low self image or negative attitude as negativity attracts negativity

change your outlook onlife smile meditate and be carefree and good things will arise form this

The best thing to do is accept things when they happen thats the first part of healing

Things always happen, some bad, some good. A little analysis will be helpful. Did the event really happen to YOU? ( Your Aunt passing away is not a joyful event, but be honest, it was worse for her). Was the event a true accident? Was it anyone's FAULT? Whose? Your fault or a "friend"? Bad judgement or animosity? Unrealistic expectations are often a precursor to "bad luck". So is substance abuse. ( A DUI ticket is not "bad luck" it's tricking yourself into believing "I won't get caught".)

Think clearly before you speak or act, choose your associates carefully, live clean.

"Bad  Things" happen to everyone. Sometimes it seems they run back to back, but that is just co-incidence at work. I bet if you wrote down on piece of paper the "good things" that have happened you would be surprised. Sometimes we need to look at our lives from a different perspective, through "new eyes" if you will.

I think some people attract the bad more than others. It's like the combination of how you talk and act, what you wear, who you know and everything else. That's probably why I always get into trouble.
