  1. No one can know everything about a person. Just because someone "seems" like a good person doesn't mean they've never done terrible things. We're all flawed, sometimes it's more obvious. I've done some terrible things that I regret ...even people who know me best would never guess it. I believe I'm paying for it right now  and working hard on getting a fresh start, but like I said, most people would never guess it.

  2. This seems like more of a philosophy question than a folklore one... so I'm going to answer from a philosophical point of view.

When some people see another who is good, they instantly feel as though this person is somehow smug or superior, often without ever trying to find out what the truth is. To them, anyone who is trying to do the right thing is a phony, because they themselves have such a hard struggle with it.

These other people, seeing perfectly good people, believe them to be naive and vulnerable, and justify being aggressive and vindictive by seemingly believing that taking from others somehow benefits everyone by making us elevate our security. They never stop to realize that if they didn't do these things in the first place, we wouldn't need security like that to begin with.

It seems to be based in selfish interests being placed over the good of the whole, combined with self-delusions about what is or is not beneficial, added to years of feeding greed and jealousy because they are "have-nots" and have fallen prey to the old ideas of limited resources because that's all they see: limits.

Because of this, they hate, and lash out at anyone, good or bad. Because there are still more good people in the world than bad, the good people will get it the most often.

  3. Random events in a hard world.

  4. So they will have experience to help other people with (sympathy). And so they can appreciate the good times.

  5. Bad things happen to everybody, people just notice when it happens to "good" people because they believe that the "bad" people 'had it coming'.

Nobody is "good" or "bad", everybody does 'bad' things and everybody does 'good' things. Some people just choose to do one more than the other.

  6. It all began in a garden one day; it's called sin.

  7. because life is not fair

  8. Even though i'm christian, i strongly believe in karma.

    Good people do bad things.

    Bad people do good things.

    It all just comes around.

  9. bad things happen to ever one just like good thing happen to ever one

  10. DUHH? anything bad and god thing can hapen to anybody, God owns the world he can do whatever he wants.......so dnt blame god for everything ....GOD IS THE ALMIGHTY!!!
