Why do banks mess up your day?

Seriouly i got 67.00 $ from games i used td banknorth. the check was from bank of america.

so i have to wait for to be clear to be able to get 30 dolloars out?. I was fine last time taking money out of my account not using td banknorth check.

The bank my boyfriend goes through in Pennsylvania is the same way. He goes to YSU in Ohio so it really sucks when his student loans come in. For some reason every other time we go there the checks take for freaking ever to clear, and then sometimes only some of it clears and the rest takes up to 6-14 days to even go through. Then even though he takes his checks to the same bank every time, to the same people, they try to say they don't take those checks, or that the checks have to be signed by financial aid. In which they do not!

The bank has to let you take out the "first" hundred dollars of deposits per day, then they can only float the money for 3 days for local checks, and 5 days for "Non-local" checks. so you should be able to take out all $67 when you first deposited it, UNLESS you were overdrawn, then the money is their's.
