Why do baseball players spit & grab their crotch???

Spit cause there's too much saliva in their mouth, their gum ran out of flavor, any reason that they have something in their mouth they don't want anymore.

They grab their crotch to fix their cup.  Cups aren't custom made thankfully so they usually don't fit perfectly and can be uncomfortable.

They spit because they're chewing seeds or tobacco, or they just have a lot of saliva built up in their mouths. they garb their crotch because if they grabbed someone else's, they'd get thrown out of the game.

It is highly impolite to grab your crotch and then spit. Some decorum must be maintained. Things are done in baseball in their proper order.

All guys scratch & spit, it is part of being a guy. They just happen to have a camera on them & you can see it. If you followed the average Joe around with a camera i am sure you would see a lot worse! lol
