Question:

Why do basil seeds become gelatinous when soaked in water? also, bubble tea Question?

it kind of freaked me out at first, the way it grows is almost like they have organisms on them...? but its not, right?? lol

also, what are the things used in bubble tea that looks similar to soaked basil seeds but are much larger? thanks =)

i picked up some basil seeds because i thought they looked close enough to black poppy seeds and i only learned at the till their little "magic trick" its very cool lol

  1. Tapioca is what is found in bubble tea. They come in clear of black. Personally, I don't find them disgusting, I very much like the taste and the chewy texture of them.
