  1. Well movies generally have big budgets, which mean that they can go just about anywhere in the world to find the perfect beach for the perfect shot. this isn't available to us in the real world.

Waters around different beaches vary greatly. there may b a beach near a sewage outlet, which would mean it was very dirty. but there are clean beaches. in Britain, we have a blue flag system, where clean beaches get awarded blue flags. these are available for everyone to see so that people know what kind of beach they are going to visit. there may be a similar system in your area.

also be careful you aren't being slightly tricked by the light. water reflects alot of light, and so the atmospheric conditions are mirrored in the surface of the water, is if its a horrible day, the sea is likely to look grey, but if its a beautifull sunny day, the water is more likely to look blue.

  2. You're goin to the wrong ones then, I live by a beautiful beach!

  3. I have never seen a blue beach - in the movies or on earth.

  4. You know that there is sand and all sorts of cool stuff under the water right? well the reason it turns brown is the water mixes with it, it what makes sea shells! But trust me if you go out a lot deeper in your beach its really nice!

  5. I lived in Panama City Beach, Florida for 9 years. The water there is clear and the sand is white as snow. The Florida panhandle has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Of course the tides and storms sometimes stir things up and it takes a week or so for things to settle.

  6. ive never had that problem .........................

  7. I live in southern california and the water at the beach is blue.

  8. It depends on what you think of as pretty. Blue water is blue because there is little or nothing living in it. The grey water you are used to in the more temperate regions is greyer because of all the plankton living in it. More plankton means more fish and better fishing. Give me the greyer water any day.

  9. The movie producers want their movies to be PERFECT. life isn't perfect. there ARE good beaches with white sand and deep blue water, but the truth is, either we've messed it up or there's dirt in the water.

  10. its either filmed in the tropical or its fake

  11. go to a beach in the caribbean. nice and blue there.

  12. The answer is quite simple. Alot of people go to the bathroom in the sea   including the fish. They useually get a faraway look at the beach because it looks clean from far away.
