Why do beautiful women get plastic surgery?

I know the before pictures were of them when they were younger, so who knows how'd they look like w/o the surgery now, but Mother Nature must be better looking than the final results! Ugh!

Why does anyone get plastic surgery? Self esteem issues. Our society has created unrealistic standards of beauty and most women don't feel that they can live up to those standards.

When there isn't much on the inside, one can resort to altering the outside.  Not that it will actually do any good.  But, hey!  I'd probably get my b***s reduced, so who am I to talk.

Interesting question. The beautiful women of Hollywood are often the ones that have the least bit of confidence and let others tell them how they should look.  It's also interesting that I hardly ever see this with black women or any other minority women.

Aesthetic enhancement (so long as its deemed appropriate by a properly credentialed plastic/aesthetic surgeon) is the right of any human being in the Western world.

I am more concerned about young women feeling an obsessional need to have surgeries such as breast augmentation.

A good (female from another country) friend once told me that God gave us all imperfections and it is the imperfections, not the perfection that makes us beautiful.  She was a water color artist and her way of seeing the world helped me to gain a new perspective on beauty.

Beautiful women get plastic surgery because beauty has become their identity. They may have been encouraged by their parents and peers to look good. They have spend hours and years dedicated to how they look. Also, if their income depends on looking good, they certainly don't want to lose that. They may fear losing the love and approval of others if they begin to age.

It is a nice combination to find someone who is beautiful, but understands that beauty is temporary. It is better for them and others if they develop their minds as well. It is important for beautiful people to have a true sense of who they are, so that they do not become vain and selfish.

Actually that sort of obsession with unneeded surgery has been recognized by doctors as a sort of body dis-morphia.

They have really really low self esteem since they are judged purely by their looks so anything that helps give them a hit they will do it

And by the way i HATE fake b*****s as soon as i see them its like my attraction switch gets flipped over to the OFF position not matter how hot they are  or how well we get along
