    the shape of the wing also helps there hert is super durable for there size wich alows them to get more energy to the muscles faster

    they first began jumping tthen the adapted to leap and flap to go longer then they adapted to leap flap wings to go up and fly

  6. Its generally a lot faster than running for most of them; though not all of them.

    But most don't have legs strong enough to outrun say, a cat, or something like that.  But they do have wings that can get them up into the air away from where the cat can reach.

    But that is generally only for the ones that can fly; the others are better designed for swimming or running.
