Why do black men dislike darker skinned women?

And they don't try to come with that it's "not all" stuff, because that is very popular with black dudes, "light skin" chicks are all the rage at least up in here in Brooklyn. Or as Yung Berg said, "I don't like dark butts".

Now, I love dark skinned women(i aint black though) but I just want to know why they are looked so down upon. I asked a couple of my friends and got several humorous responses, but I just wanted to know what you guys on yahoo thought

Yeah I agree with you.

I am in California, and I saw many many MANY black dudes (good looking too) date very very very ugly FAT (OMG) white women when there are so many BEAUTIFUL Beyonce look alike black women available. So go figure.
