  1. Dont you mean SOME black people....we actually have greasy hair, because we dont have greasy hair.. Let me explain..

Since our hair doesnt become greasy or oily on its own...we have to manually grease pr oil it...

  2. Quite the contrary.  Black people tend to have very dry hair in comparison to other ethnic groups.  Often times, oil or grease has to be added to the hair to prevent breakage.

  3. Do you see anything greasy about my hair??

    <--------------------------------

  4. That is a pretty rascist question. And no, our hair is actually quite dry-i have to apply hair moistoriser on it everyday just to keep it from breaking.

  5. And the dryest scaliest skin.

  6. Dude whites and all asians have greasy hair. Thats why we have to use shampoo and wash our hair everyday.

  7. Actually...caucasions have the greasiest hair of all groups...that's why they have to wash it more than we do. Our hair gets very dry...so we have to keep it moisturized often. Just the truth. Get over it.

  8. Ryan,

Why do you have to state that you are not being racist?  Think about it.

Anyways, you ought to get out more. First of all in case you have not noticed not all black people have hair. Additionally, if you give it a little bit of thought you may conclude that black people have greasy hair for the same reason that other ethnic groups have greasy hair.

So what your question implies is that if you were in a totally dark room with 50 people you could tell which people were black because they have greasy hair. That would be a good experiment.

To get useful answers you must ask useful questions.

    You questions implies a conclusion.

Why not ask "Do all black people have greasy hair"?

If the answer is yes then ask why?

If a white person have greasy hair then does what does it mean?

I do not not think you will receive any useful answers to your presumptuous question.

For example I could ask : why are white people so racist, and hateful towards non whites?   Historical evidence might lead me to ask such a flawed question.

I do not believe your intent was to get answer here as much as it is a statement of your established beliefs.

  9. You what Ryan?

THAT kind of question is EXACTLY what this forum is for...asking questions we aren't comfortable asking someone face to face. Based on the answers you're getting I see what you wouldn't want to ask anyone face to face.

So let me see if I can answer...

You know how our hair gets oily after a couple/few days of not washing it?

African American/Black people's skin (scalp is skin) doesn't produce as much oil as Caucasians (white) people's skin (scalp) so in order to keep their hair from literally drying up and breaking off, they add moisturizers found in hair products.

So while in white people oily hair IS dirty, the shine you see in black people's hair is hair care products.

And on a side note: African Americans hair, one single strand, is 15 times thicker than that of a Causations hair! This is also why they have to take such care of it and they have so much more versatility with it.

Hope that helps...from one white mama.

  10. How old are you?

  11. Our hair is dry so we grease our scalp with oils and berries.

  12. The fact is Black people do not have greasy hair. Naturally Black people have kinky dry hair. Black people don't produce oils in their scalp. For Black people to have sheen and luster in their hair most must add oil to their hair. Typical those oils are natural oils such as olive oil, hemp oil or almond oil among others. Just so you know Black people consider it an insult to say they have greasy hair. The term that is acceptable is oily.

  13. We don't, our hair is actually naturally much drier than any other ethnicity.

  14. Rhonda G said it best!

FYI: You don't have to preface or end things with "I'm not a racist".  Those four special little words only make what you're saying a little more...sketchy.

  15. You racist b*****d.

  16. Your stupidity is showing.

  17. I'm going to take a stab at it and say becaaaaaaause we sometimes apply grease to our hair.

    -_-

    ...

    (yawn) clueless ppl...

  18. Black people's hair is kinky and some use hair products that are creamy and that helps their hair. It's just like anyone who uses styling products. Their hair isn't naturally greasy, it's just got product in it.  Your hair would be very very very very greasy if you used black hair products and it would look awful. Black people who use products for black hair have nice hair that stays in place and is less kinky.

Sorry you can't try the look. Your hair would end up looking flat as a pancake because it is of a different density and the product will weigh it down.
