Why do british think their better than Americans, when it is actually the opposite way round?

Im getting fed up with seeing British people bad mouthing Americans when they are the ones that need to get a grip. Americans are the ones that invent everything, we are the ones that have the best athletes, we are the ones that make the best media and so forth. However yet the British bad mouth us saying we are failures and fat and obese and think that they more succesful than us when infact they have done NOTHING i mean NOTHING big as we done, i can not recall anything famous that the united kingdom has done since the beatles. so why are British so arrogant and think they are the best country in the world? is it natural for them to do that?

Actually the English have a richer history than the Americans. They also have a different culture..and they cant stand most Americans for their ignorance and arragonce...and their foreign policies especially. Trust me the list goes on and on.

I'm an american and personally I think the British are cool. What's your problem with different people from different countries? It's not natural for ANYone to think they are the best country. and THAT GOES FOR AMERICANS!  i'm sure the british are fed up with americans bad mouthing British. and you know why they call us fat and obese? because we are. and I am NOT proud to be associated with all the losers who just sit and eat potato chips all day. EXERCISE! or america is going to the dogs. I WISH i lived in Britain!

the only thing i don,t like about the British, is that they let ireland go,      i could hang around with the British all day, i think the British have better personalities, and certainly prefer the British accents and personalities to american irish civil servants, and entertainers,  yeah, the British can have my time anytime, i prefer the British, and wish they had won the revolution and live in new york city the Bronx, where i grew up,    yeah, the British,    great show,     the americans are big retards,   not all of them, and yes, america is great, but when i grew up in nyc, in Woodlawn in the Bronx, it was all irish neighbors,      and i do not care to live around the irish, the irish are not that great, personal experience,       as i said the big disappointment with the British with me is that they let ireland go,     i think the irish are terrorists, who have mercy for no one,     and the irish don,t offer a damned thing for anyone,   they are full of it,   hot air,   i would live in some country where the irish are not,     they destroy everything and everyone,      i will feel terrible to see another irish president,      they do not know how to run a country, wish some one would get them out of politics,    they are terrible,

America hasn't done much for the world except give it fast food and S****y cars. Most of europe invented many more things then America and that includes Britain, the reason we say your country is fat is because they are the most obese nation in the world, I take it you have never seen any British TV otherwise you may think differently about that, we don't think we are the best, we just think America are a very long way down the list.

from what i seen alot of british people are worse than americans. you got amy winehouse addicted to crack ,lily allen a pot head and swears like a sailor, steve-o from jackass who's well a jackass. the people there are obsessed with celebrities more than americans are especially madonna, they say the word c.u.n.t. like s.h.i.t there, and then half of them are muslims who are billionares who are responsible for celebrity obsession by owning everything in entertainment and raising gas prices. i dont think there better than americans
