  3. because the back legs of a rabit are made to push at a moments notice and are made for speed in order to survive. A rabbit is so quick because its back legs are constantly ready to move.

They have no way to defend themselves from predators except to flee.  As a result, they have been designed for quick bursts of speed at a moment's notice.  Their enlarged hind legs are also designed for making sharp sudden turns to escape predators such as foxes and coyotes.  As a result of their enlarged hind legs they hop as they move forward.
