They sponsor The Ultimate Fighter, not the UFC as far as I know.

They sponsor them because they are willing to pay enough money to have their logo in the octagon.

It has nothing to do with whether or not the athletes eat Burger king.

I see what you're saying though, they seem to be the only sponsor, or one of the only sponsors that arn't anything to do with MMA.

Most of these men at the top level have almost superhuman strength and endurance, as proven on "Fight quest" on the discovery channel.

Most of these men are 101% dedicated to their sport and their diets are impecable.

For example, Randy Cotour, or Forest Griffin would give ANY Olympic athlete or Boxer a run for their money in the general fitness stakes.

And indeed, many have reached and surpassed an Olympic standard in Wrestling (Randy Cotour, Matt Hamill for example) and boxing, aswell as the very best Jiu-Jitsu practitioners in the world.

Even though I think they sponsor the Ultimate Fighter reality show, not the Ultimate Fighting Championship.. but I may be wrong.

they are not marketing their brand to the competitors they are marketing themselves towards the fans. i think its a great sponsorship becuase people watching are out and will probably eat something, and their target audience on tv will be youngish men that are also likely to buy fast food.

It's about advertising! Most likely UFC guys do eat burger king after a long hard workout. Have you seen some of those guys? They are HUGE! They need some huge burgers to fill them up and I guess burger king is where it's at!
