  1. you usually get them fron biting your lip, braces, or just some sort if irritation in the mouth. its not like an std or anything like that. the basic way to heal them is rinse your mouth with salt and water a few times a day. if you dont want to do that just let them heal on there own. your mouth is the fastest healing part of your body and they should be gone in a week or less.

  2. I used to get canker sores when I ate too many tomatoes, so I always assumed that they were a result of eating too much of foods high in acids.

  3. citric acid does it to me

    so like ne thing sour

    salt water helps

  4. vitamin K will cut the healing time in half, no joke. it's a horse pill though.  theres an over the counter medicine called Kanka that will soothe the pain instantly. i recommend using them both in conjunction.  it's just an ulcer inside the mouth.  not contagious.

  5. 1st- try not to bite the inside of your mouth.

2nd- if their realy bad swish with brandy (GrOsS but effective)

  6. It happens when you eat out too many women in the Dublin redlight district.  Wash down with beer.

  7. just  rinse with salt water.gone in couple days/

  8. Yes, try these:

For Mouth Pain due to Canker Sores, Biting or Burns

    • Zilactin-B by Zila Pharmaceuticals

    • OraBase by Colgate

    • Rincinol P.R.N. by John O. Butler

    • Orajel—Mouth Sore Medicine Gel or Discs by Orajel Co.

    • Available over the counter at most pharmacies.

    • If the lesion does not heal in 10-14 days please call for an appointment to have it checked.

  9. They are viruses and will tend to come out when your immune system is weakened or when you take excessive amounts of vitamin C. Treat them by scrubbing them with hydrogen peroxide on a cotton stick three times a day. They should be gone after two days.

  10. My daughter use to get them and cold sores all the time, and one of the docs I work for suggested vitamin B12. Since she started taking that everyday. She has not got a single one, and it's been over a year.

    Give that a try.

  11. You can easily get rid of canker sores by knowing the cause and then apply the right treatment.

  12. canker sores are from stress and your body is to acidic. salt water rinses a few times a day and a lot of vegetables to re balance your acidity. you need to be alkaline in your body you can but strips at the pharmacy/drug store . test first think in the morning your spit and your second pee of the morning depends on the colour . sugar and process foods and soft drinks are all very acidic and break down your immune system. so eat more fruit and veg and you will notice an all over improvement

  13. I think they are caused by acid levels in your mouth. I get them all of the time and boy are they painful. I haven't found anything that works to get rid of them, I have had them since I was little, but some of the numbing meds work a little, but taste awful. Maybe ask a dentist or a doctor what they recommend.
