Why do car companies, make good cars look like S***?

Question

Well I was looking at some of the new cars like: NSX, RX-7, Supra, Corvett SS, Cobalt, Nissan Z and a few others and they look like S***. Why do the companies make such good cars look so bad? Is there any way to convince they to keep the cars looking close to the older ones?

Yeah. Don't buy it unless you like it. Enough people get turned off then the ugly cars will go away.

I don't know about making the Cars look Identical, but I agree with Everything else your talking about.

But I have a Flip-Side opinion to Why they look so ugly:

In the Last Few years, cars have been becoming more Square, and Old-looking. The Retro-look has over-taken the Remaining Muscle-Cars that are in Production.

Just look at the Front-Ends of newer cars. They look Bulky, and have a Flatter font-end bumper on them.

I must be the 'Current' Look. I don't know. Maby it's the new 'look-at-my-b*tch' look. That Guady, Square look. (Bah)

The Cobalt is basically the New Cavalier, only it Does have a Bulkier Font-end. The RX-8 isn't that bad, but it has that Bigger Front-end, but still better than the other ugly cars.

The NSX, Supra & RX-7 are Discontinued, dude; so I don't know why you brought that one up. The Nissan 350 Z is not that bad, either.

But yes, it's no 94' Z28. Now THAT was a CAR!!  :)

Other examples of Square, Ugly cars are the Chrystler 300 & Dodge Charger, the New (and Current) Mustang, and most of the Ford Cars.

There Are exceptions: the New Chevy Impala, and Corvette, the Honda Civic, the New Buick's, just too name a Few that have gotten Rounder, and Finer looking. The Buick Enclave is Awsome Looking!! :)

I hope that more AeroDynamic Cars will come out. We need the Aero-look for Gas Milage!!  :)

Are you the car fashion designer?  Are you .... maybe a woman?  Because women complain about the way good looking cars look all the time.  I think if you were to go and design a car, it would be 1) not aerodynamic and there for a slow pice of c**p 2) would look like the car a woman or a homosexual would drive.

Stop asking questions about cars unless you know something about them.

Any car with good gas mileage will look ugly so you dont buy it and instead buy a good looking bad gas mileage car so you  spend more money into the economy. I am ASSUMING. lols. IDK, I think thats why.
