Question:

Why do caravan holiday parks make out they’ve centrally heated caravans but then don’t, when you turn up?

Went on a week’s holiday a few weeks ago and confirmed with the site beforehand by phone that the caravans they had were full gas centrally heated ones. Got there, owner took us to our allocated caravan and when we went in and looked round I asked her, “But where’s the radiators?” (all the walls were bare) She said, “Oh, it doesn’t appear to have any, does it? I’d no idea”. Needless to say, we travelled on somewhere else and found somewhere to stay (thank goodness we didn’t pay in advance).

  1. only the top end caravans have central heating , so they used clever advertising to get you in ,they will have a few caravans with central heating so they are telling the truth but not the whole truth.

haven have caravans for sale starting at £22,000 including ground rent but the same caravan from the makers retails at £15,995  yet the central heating one is £60,000 at haven yet retails at £51,995

    welcome to rip off UK.
