  1. Also to the molocule of gas in the carbonation expand when cold and contract when warm, that is why when you add ice to a drink it cackles and snaps it is the water expanding in the glass.

    That is why most Americans are not fond of British beer as they prefer it at room temp or slightly chilled not cold or frosty, it is simple hydrodynamics.


  2. The carbon dioxide in the drink makes the drink taste "sparkly".  Heating the drink releases most of the CO2 gas, resulting in a flat drink.

    Before drinking a bottle of water, shake it up for a while.  To your surprise, it will actually taste better.  This is an old trick.

  3. the answer to your question is because all of the carbon gets released from the drink. Resulting in the flat taste just like after you open the drink and you hear the pshhhh noise thats carbon getting released.
