  1. I live in wisconsin and some say it is colder here.  i grew up in west virginia.  alot different than wisconsin.. i use to buy my cars south and bring them north.i could get a better used car for less because the body was always in better shape.that included anything under the car.  floor, brake lines, exhaust, emergency brake lines.  they all worked because they were not rusted out by SALT!!!!!!!

  2. SALT

  3. Never heard this...maybe its because people in colder climates drive bigger vehicles to get around given the conditions, while people in warmer climates drive smaller cars because they don't have to worry about it as much....the larger cars would depreciate faster then the smaller ones, especially with gas prices.

    Otherwise, never heard that.

  4. I didn't know that.

    ===

    But it could be because

    (1) more salt on the road (snow) - more rust

    (2) winter starts are much harder on the engine / engine oil

    (3) batteries never fully charge in the winter

    BUT the sun is also very harsh on the paint.  VERY HARSH.

    good Luck...
