  3. They move because a series of controlled explosions caused by igniting a volatile gas in a confined area, drives a piston which revolves the axle that turns the wheels.  This is a very simplified explanation for a complex process.  Perhaps it is explained in Wikipepia.

  4. Well they wouldnt be very handy if they didnt move.  They also wouldnt be called "cars" they'd be called a shelter.
