  23. I have always been told that cats and dogs eat grass to settle their stomachs if they are feeling sick/have a stomach ache. It is no harm to them (unless the grass has anything bad on it) so don’t stop them just let them carry on but keep a close eye on them to make sure they are ok and not showing any abnormal signs to suggest they are seriously unwell and always make sure they have fresh cool water. You can actually grow something called cat grass and that is specifically for cats to eat, I know that’s a random fact but I thought it was on topic lol. Xx

  24. It somehow calm their stomach.

I had a cat that ate grass, maybe like 3 times a week.

It seems like cats eat grass more than dogs.

When we first got our dog, he ate grass for about the first week and a half we had him. He doesent eat grass anymore.

Yeah, it just calms and help digest food.

  25. They actually do this for the nutrients in the grass that they may be missing in their food. Make sure you feed them a high end brand like Nutro, Science Diet, Eukanuba, ect rather than the cheapo grocery store brands because they do not have adequet nutrition. Grass makes them throw up because it has little irritating barbs on the blades that upset their stomaches.

  26. they eat grass like we have medicine they eat grass when they arnt well missing a blance in there diet or just plan not well just like rabbits eat there own poo they are missing and esstial part of there diets its very normal also if a cat or dog has a fur ball they will eat grass to the point there bellys hurt and that how you see a furball produced but sometimes it gets to the point they need help grass beleive it or not once entered in the animlas stomach knows exactly what they animal wants and does its job
