Why do cats fall over when you wrap aluminum foil around their waist?

if you make a aluminum foil 'belt' and wrap it around a cat's waist, it will fall over. once you take it off the cat is fine. it doesn't seem to hurt the cat - the cat just sits there and looks at you.

  1. It messes with their balance and cats absolutely hate the feel of aluminum foil.

  2. I made a little Pyramid shaped hat for mine, and he wrote a novel.

He hasnt been able to find a publisher, yet, tho...

Thats a good and funny observation you made, tho, I can really visualize that happening. Cats are weird.

  3. They do that with any foreign object attached to their bodies (like 'cute' kitty t-shirts).  They are basically agitated and it probably does throw their balance off.

  4. Leave the poor d**n cat alone!

  5. put tape on a cat its really funny, get the kind that doesn't pull off fur though

  6. it messes with their ukrarealium. i dont know how to spell it but its throws their balance off.
