  1. Cats like to eat fish because the fish have an excellent source of proteins and it tastes good for them.Cats learned from their ancestors to eat fish for more than 1000 years because at that time people don't know what to feed cats so they gave them fish and they like it

  2. Just be aware that fish is not a natural diet for a domestic feline and daily feeding of fish has been shown to cause major urinary tract issues. Feed fish only in moderation.

i have seven cats and only two of them like fish which i give them once a week.

  3. They like the taste.  Simple as that.

As far as I can tell, most cats will eat any kind of raw meat they find.  Different cats have different preferences - one of ours generally avoids fish but will claw through a steel wall to get poultry - but because fish can have a strong odor, it might do a better job of stimulating the "let's eat!" centers of their brains.

The earlier answer is correct, though - a cat's physiology is not optimized for a diet loaded with lots of fish.  There is a wild cat species (the fishing cat) whose diet is dominated by fish, but domestic cats are descended from ancestors that preferred to hunt small mammals.

  4. Fish is a food source for kitties, it's primeval instinct.  The instinct was passed down generation to generation to eat fish.
