  1. It's their present to you.

  2. its a proven fact that cats are the only animal that hunts for  fun in the whole world. which pretty much if your cat was bigger than you it would kill you for fun. hard to believe? ikr.

  3. It is a gift for you. They think we are incapable. :)

  4. She thinks a dead animal is like an offering to you, her owner. She wants to be acknowledged for what she has accomplished. My mom's cat used to do the same thing.  As for dead plants....that's a new one.

  5. Well, if you had a "master" that you looked up to and you found a piece of gold would you bring it to her so that she would be pleased with you?  I would...

Your cat is trying to please you and make you happy!  It would scare her to say "No!  Yuck!!!"

My cat brings dead mice and drops them on my chest.  I have to praise her!!!

  6. mine does the same, but with all of his toys.  sometimes in the middle of the night, when I am in a deep, deep sleep, he will jump up on our bed w/a toy in his mouth and just scream!!!   Not sure why they cry so loud...he is doing it while I type this!  I think you are right though.  They just want us to know and it's getting our attention to acknowledge them.

  7. She is just trying to please you and show you what she  can do.
