Why do cats love wires, cables, being behind a computer or TV? ?

I have a cat who anywhere else in the room she goes straight to a cable and sleeps right on top of it. Or back of my computer where the hot fan is blowing and just plops right on all the wires.... Why???

I don't know if it is trustworthy,but I heard several times that cats like this electromagnetic radiation,don't know why really.

Cats love to lurk in hidden or partly hidden places, so behind a computer or TV works.  Also, the TV and the computer tend to be warm -- the contemporary version of curling up on the hearth rug.

The wires are just a fact of life for a cat looking for a cozy nook.
