Well, if they aren't or were fixed when they were about 1 or older, it's a um well, sexual thing to say the least and other wise it's an "I love you" gesture.

it depends. if you cat is not fixed, then it would mean that she's in heat. if you cat is fixed or is male, it's because cats have a gland at the base of their tail. putting their nut up is a way to get you to touch that glad so that it leaves their scent on you.
