my cat actually does own me. one day Mr. mittens asks me to sign something for him, I'm thinking it's just a permission slip for a class field trip or something. Well, a couple days later I go into my room and there's this butler's uniform on my bed.  Mr. mittens tells me to put it on because I work for him now. Turns out I signed a document that made me Mr. mittens' indentured servant.  And I should have known he was up to something.  I mean Mr. mittens isn't even in school. He graduated last year. AH, they grow up so fast don't they?

They remember that they once were worshipped and they keep the owner/servant thing alive.
