Why do channels like history and discover talk about global warming, I thought they were supposed to be facts?

Its funny, they talk about global warming, but just last week I watched a show about how the earth is headed towards another mini ice age like back in the medieval period. Then back to global warming.

Why do talk radio hosts pass themselves off as experts and portray their think-tank propoganda as fact?

I thought they were supposed to be responsible journalists?

because global warm is real and research is fact. Scientists do not prove things. They either disprove or can say according to research to a certain degree of certainty the probability of something happening in nature.

Because to some scientists and researchers, they "supossively" have facts on it and it's effects.

And to the man above me, it's called free speech.

Journalists are just using their GOD GIVIN rights. :D

It is all about ratings!

Seldom do we actually get to see the true facts because that doesn't sell!

I wish it were different, but the media will promote what they believe is going to bring in the greatest audience.

The really sad part, is that because of this type of attention, people who I have respected for so many years, like David Attenborough, have been taken in by this farce, and how easily people can be deceived, no matter what their level of intelligence may be!

I find this situation to be much more of a threat to our existence than terrorism itself in many ways.

When you convince a well known public figure that a lie is the truth, the general public is going to follow.

I could go on, but I think it is time for me to crawl back into my den and try to forget the stupidity and arrogance.(at least for a couple of hours).

I watched this painful show on the "actual" effects of global warming with Brokaw.  Geesh what a piece of work that was.  It was painful and I deserve a purple heart for enduring it.   I swear it had music that they must have borrowed from a B-rated  horror movie.  That was real scientific and objective (not!).  It was designed to scare, not to present facts.  That appears to be the objective of the whole global warming death cult.  What is really irritating is first they insult your intelligence suggesting that warming is necessarily bad, and then they suggest if you doubt their paranoid predictions that you are a "denier" as if you are supposed to feel really bad about that.  I know I don't have much problem sleeping knowing that they consider me a (pause), oh my, a denier.
