Why do cheerleaders hate the dance team?

im on the dance team and have been dancing for many years but everytime we would have an afterschool run through with the cheerleaders they would always just ignore us.but i think its more of a jealousy thing cause first of all our cheerleaders are so lazy in the first place.they only performed at two assemblies one where they did this 2min. cheer with no stunts and the other with their regionals routiene but all of the flyers in their pyramid fell on accident.and the third time they were supposed to perform was 3months after their state and they had tried to put together this routiene tht would be actually good but they jacked it all up it was horrible and they didnt finish it?what do they do at pracice?i think they are jealous cause in our school every1 likes to watch us more and after we do a hard performance they and go and do some 1min cheer.not to mention they got 4th at state and we got 1st and 2nd and grand champion at nationals? Is it jealousy or are they just full of themsels

cheerleaders can't really dance so they hate people who can.

It's that simple.

ha at my school we arent like that. but we hate it when we get called cheerleaders. but cheerleaders dont mind if they get called dancers. hah.

im friends with a lot of cheerleaders and they cant dance at all. and they admit it. lol

yep dancers are way better than cheerleaders thats why alot of people didnt like me because i went to go try out for cheerleading they didnt have a dance team because thats what i wanted to do and i was the best at the dance part like everyone else was stiff and stuff but i didnt make the cheerleading team

Because it's two clicks of pretty girls.  Groups of pretty girls will always be at war with each other.

Maybe the cheerleaders hate the dance team, but it sounds to me like the dance team hates the cheerleadres as well!

The cheer leaders at my school work just as hard as the dance team does. Both of us practice everyday *not mondays* until 5. We always each have great preformances.

Actually, aat my school the dance team and the cheerleaders have a partnership. At homecoming, the dance team and the cheerleaders cheer together, and preform. My schools dance team is also poms... so we do pom pom routines as well as hip hop and Jazz. Im friends with alot of the girls on dance team and also some cheerleaders too! Your school would have a much easier time building the spirtit if both groups would quit dissing each other and get along!!

im a dancer and a cheerleader at school.

its probably just because your cheerleaders dont work hard enough

not because they cant dance.

cheerleading takes just as much technique and training as dance.

i think give these girls a break. they are probably just lazy.

and for you dancers who say cheerleaders are c**p or dumb or whatever.

maybe you should try it one day.

cant bad something out until you try it..

cheeleading is wanna-be dance. dance is harder and more fun to watch and they know it :)

they are just jealous because you actually have talent. anyone could be a cheerleader with no prior experience but you need experience to be on a dance team.

because the dance team can actually dance, and its much more attractive and original then their 3 same ol' pom pom split routines...
