Why do chickens and roosters have have anger managament issues?

I was at my dads ranch and I was playing hide and seek with my little cousins( I know, I'm too old, but I hadn't seen them in like forever, we were just having fun) well anyways, the chicken coop was open so I ran in there and I instantly ran out with like 5 or 6 freaking chickens chasing me like crazy.

They are probably defending their eggs. You are threat to them.

you scared them and they got pissed because you charged into their home.

you will probably get angry if some random guy charges into your home.

so get that out of your head for a start.

tbh, I'd imagine the reason, is because they thought you had some food or a treat for them and so followed you hoping you would giove them something.

They could have just been hungry, if they're not fed enough?

Otherwise , you have probably ex-agerated the situation completley... .



Chickens are not violent ..
