Why do children like me?

Question

So, everywhere I go children stare at me, it never fails. There have been no kids so far who are not drawn to me. I work as a therapist for autistic kids, and I have yet to meet a kid who dislikes me, even those who give other therapists the hardest times. I'm not ugly,I'm not a "bubblie" guy, I'm not a purple dinosaur, nor am I a "wiggles" member, so what do these things mean? Why are kids drawn to some people instead of others? Do kids stare at you everywhere I go? Does anybody else out there have the same "problem"? Does this mean I have a good aura? I want Answers! haha

I am this same way.  I used to volunteer time in a classroom, helping children with reading, and the kids would all go crazy when I showed up.  The teacher said they would always ask when I was coming next, it was the best part of their week.  Kids talk to me when they won't talk to anyone else.  When I am with a group of kids they all clamour for my attention.  I think a big reason for this is that I never talk down to kids or treat them like they're stupid.  I pay attention to them, instead of thinking about what I would rather be doing.  I genuinely have fun with them, playing games and with toys, and I think they pick up on that.

I think that children have better perception than the rest of us because they are not corrupted by the beliefs that we are supposed to have as adults. I think they can sense more than we can. So, maybe they sense that you are a good person that enjoys children.

You are fortunate. They sense trustworthiness and do not fear you. (nonthreatening)

Could also be your size or shape or the way you walk. Children don't trust everyone and I'd say your occupation suits you well.

Who reading this could see auras as a child  and now can no longer see them?   (it's not like we wouldn't remember THAT changing)

Yeah me too!!  Kids absolutely love me!  My family/friends are always getting jealous because children will always smile and come to me.  Even at public places!!  But they usually dont come up to me just a stare and smile.  I do not think its a bad thing though.  I enjoy it a lot.  It makes me feel good.  I have no idea if they are attracted to my aura some very well could be though just like you.  I treasure every moment though just it case it ever goes away.  So I plan to become a pediatrician because I enjoy children.  I seem to relate with them more than people of my own age.  God bless!

Seriously, you write like it's a bad thing? I work with kids and they always like me too. I'm glad they do, because the ones they don't like know all about it.

Perhaps you conduct yourself in a non-threatening manner which children are drawn to.  Being a therapist, you probably developed body language which is inviting and you may do this unconsciously, but it could be the reason children are attracted to you without even knowing you.  C'mon now... a therapist should know better than to attribute paranormal phenomena to anything :)

Are you small built so they relate to you well? Maybe you have an inter child in you aka:playful, lots of energy,silly. Sounds like your true calling. That is great that when people can't get through children they know you can.  I had read a good bit that children can see auras and so that is very possible. They see a certain color aura around you that attracts them. This is a thought but maybe you could help with children with O.D.D. The doctors say that could come on with they think they aren't getting enough attention so they act out. It could be extra money in your pocket. Then again, you could help and feel you have made even more of a difference in a child's life.
