  1. The sun

  2. Hmmmmmm... let me think about that...

Do you think it could be the heat?  Do ya?  Maybe heat causes more evaporation than cold does?  Could be...

  3. This is the funniest ever. You know it is not necessarily more humid in the winter. Summers tend to be more humid than winters because the heat causes more evaporation therefore humidity. People putting their clothes out to dry in the summer causes it to be more humid lol.

  4. In winter there is more moisture in the air.

  5. moisture content in the atmosphere is less...

  6. the air is more humid in the winter than it is in the summer.

  7. SUN SUN SUN AND CLOTHESLINES

  8. i use a clothes dryer, so there is no difference.  when air drying clothes, the heat from the air speeds up drying.

  9. Heat evaporates water faster than cool or cold temperatures

  10. bcause of the stronger sunlight.

  11. I'm not sure where some of these people live, but the air is much drier in the colder weather. It has to do with the temperature. The warmer the temperature the more moisture the air will hold. If your house is 65 degrees in the winter it will hold less water and evaporation will be slower. If your house is 75 degrees the air will hold more water and the moisture will evaporate quicker.

  12. The sun is closer to the northern hemisphere during June, July, and August which is their summer

The sun is closer to the southern hemisphere during December, January, and February which is their summer.

    Hence HEAT in summer

Hence cold moist air in winter
