Question:

Why do clueless people answer questions here?

I'm always seeing answers like "I don't know" or some completely off the wall jibber jabber. Some of the questions are from people seriously in need of help and they don't need to wade through a bunch of worthless c**p before finding the answer they need. I think a lot of people here aren't really interested in helping. Thanks to the ones that do.

  1. uh, i don't know

  2. becuase they are immature kids with nothing else to do except feel wanted in little answers people give out.

    LET THE KIDS PLAY XD

  3. Answer:  It's in 'The Points' of course.  The gaining of those all essential points for when we later go to the Great Yahoo in the sky.

[ I was tempted to answer with ~ ''I dunno, I don't have a clue'', but that seemed the easy route to two whole and fresh and newly minted points to put into my basket. ]

    (-:Sash;-)

  4. They do it in every category on here.

I prefer the little "IDK" answers to the ones that are completely wrong and could cause problems.  I had answered one question where the girl had asked about suicide.  I always take a question like that seriously, whether the poster is being serious or not...because I just don't know.  She actually had some answers that told her to (not in these exact words, but just as bad,) "Just go ahead and blow your brains out if you are pathetic enough to try and get attention on the internet."

That is scary.  Those are the people that have no business answering questions.

  5. Because Clueless people ask questions!!!!!

  6. entertainment

    2pts

  7. Because everyone likes to think that they're an expert at something.

It's an ego boost for someone to think that their answer was selected as the best answer, whether they really knew the solution or not. It's like being told that you're top of the class in school, or aced the SAT's.

  8. They Haven't a Hobby ha ha

  9. Yahoo Answers is like a bus station. You get all kinds.

    Motivations--they are legion.

    I try to help.

I find also some questions irritating: "Why is your worst fear?"  I call them the "you questions."  These are "legal" of course.  But my first reaction is, Why do you care why MY fear is? And, Why on earth would I want to tell you?

  10. For the 2 point credit DE...DEE..DEEE!!!
