  1. because your hand (wutever ur holding it with) is not as cold as the "thing" so it feels like its melting. lol.. im guessing

  2. because they don't feel dry ; -)

  3. Water molecules boil, therefore they are gas and in the air, when they come into contact with a cold surface, theres not enough heat energy in them to stay gas (because the cold object has had a large percentage of the waters heat energy transferred to it, warming it slightly). This means the water will turn liquid on contact with the object, making it wet.

E.g. Your window after cooking a good meal, and boiling some veg.

This is also the principle as to why things feel cold, your heat energy is transferred to the object making you cool down, and warming it, only slightly, but noticeable enough for you to realise you have cooled, and so it feels cold.

  4. good question...

    and ew groose people.

maybe because there just so cold?

    i really DONT know.

  5. i learnt this in science once.i think its something to do with the fact that heat energy from your body is being transferred to the cold object which is gaining your heat energy and you are gaining its cold energy.....sorry if this is a bit vague Lol,but i hope i kinda helped :D

  6. Hey! naughty girl!

  7. condensation!

  8. Its condensation on the outside of cold things.

  9. because wet things are cold because when water evaporates it takes heat with it. we just associate cold with wet.
