Non-Profit organizations?

There are some misc. products I want, through different companies. Even if I have the $$, they refuse to sell it to me. Why? Why can't they just charge individuals an extra fee or something?

I want to buy these:

  1. The majority of these companies have their shipping set up to do bulk shipping in semi trucks... they arent going to ship you one package of paper if it costs them extra to take care of it... some companies also get tax benifits for only selling to those kind of organizations... If you bought from them,, they would lose a lot of loyal customers due to undercutting.
