  1. Using a registry cleaner can clean up your computer and then make your computer faster,Why?the reason is that there may be some registry errors and remnant, corrupt files and temp files in your computer to cause "computer slow".

Every time you install and uninstall software on your computer and surfing online you create junk in the computer registry.over time, the registry can grow to enormous proportions, especially if the various programs you've installed do not do a good job of deleting and/or updating it's Registry entries. You need to scan and clean your computer with registry cleaner to make it fast.Good Registry Cleaner will improve your computer and Internet performance dramatically!

There are some comparison and review of TOP 5 registry cleaners.

  4. Uninstall all those free web browser add-ons

Uninstall all the extraneous programs you got for free like Limewire & such

    Run disk cleanup

Delete all your temporary internet files

    Download Avira Anti-virus

    Download Spybot Search & Destroy

    Download Ad-Aware SE personal

Download ZoneAlarm personal edition free firewall

Reboot and uninstall all your anit-virus stuff, all your spyware stuff, and all your malware stuff. De-activate your Windows Firewall

    Run disk cleanup again

    Run disk defrag.

    Good Luck

  5. Loadza files, applications and viruses.

  6. Is it running Windows Vista? If so, that's the problem. Vista sucks.

If it's running Windows XP or 2000:

Maybe you now have too much unnecessary software running in the background that you don't ever use. Press Ctrl-Alt-Del and look under the Applications and Processes tabs to see what software is running, and how much of your CPU resources it's using.

Does the system tray (on the right of the task bar where the clock is) brim with a dozen or more icons when you open it up, and you don't even know what half of them are? That's one symptom of the problem.

Be ruthless and uninstall any applications you don't use. You can also configure the startup settings (Start->Run, then type msconfig.exe) not to launch certain programs when Windows starts up.

Install Firefox too, and use it instead of IE. It's a much better browser.

  7. usually if u download thing like games and like messengers and stuff like that it get viruses and they can really hurt your computer um my best advice is take it to a computer place and get it checked out otherwise it can go completely dead on it wont work at all

  8. Make sure your computer is virus and spyware free

AVG is one of best free anti-virus programs out there

Virus and spyware usually slow down your computer so download the programs above and run a Full Scan.

Also, get rid of programs that you don't use will also help

    Defrag your hard drive

Use this free defragment program (Windows built-in defrag program is g*y)

If nothin' changes after you've done what i said above then it's time for you to upgrade your computer

Add more RAM, Go with a faster processor and stuff

                         Good Luck

  9. Well in my experience, bad brands like HP and Dell tend to just get worse and slower as time goes on for a reason or for no reason. A typical way to see if a computer is going to quickly become a piece of c**p is to look at how many "extras" it has. Since Windows and the computers that run Windows are made by different companies, it's hard for the computer manufacturers to make special fancy features for it that'll work on their computers. This is because they don't own the rights to the Windows OS, so they can't actually modify it. Instead, in order to make it work right away with printers from their brand, or to give it other features that sound good in the store that aren't in the OS itself, they add little things that run in the background to make it work. But that's highly inefficient because it makes room for tons of problems that shouldn't normally be there. I don't even know what kind of computer you have, but the problems you describe spell out one of these computers. If that's the case, there isn't really anything you can do.

  10. Bandwidth, are u sharing your computer or internet with someone else? The processes, like if you are running so many programs at one time and also if it gets too hot.

  11. Usual cause is buildup of junk files: much like a file cabinet full of paper that no one will ever use again.

Clean those out on a regular basis:

1- download CCleaner and use - it is safe and effective-free

2- Gary utilities is also good-free

3- Go to your browser and deleted cookies and history

4- Go to control panel, maintenance, start file, run "free up space on hard disk", also "defragment".  These will help some

Most computers tend to run slower in the evening.  I don't know why.

  12. it can be a number of things so download this http://www.superantispyware.com/ and do a scan its a trial but its good for finding viruses and a nother 1 is your registrys try this http://www.pctools.com/registry-mechanic... this is the best for registrys can i ask how much ram u got

  13. Your PC could have a virus.

You need to have a good virus protection program installed.

Trend Micro PC Cillin Internet Security is a good security program, along with this I would try spybot (spybot is a free)

  14. go into:

C: document and settings, your user name, local settings, TEMP, and delete all the files in TEMP, and then go back into local settings and delete the "Temperary Internet Files". These files are small but tend to add up, and they will bog down your computer alot. I am an IT Tech, and this is the first thing that we do to a slow PC. Also run a defrag, this will help a bit too, and get a goo antivirus and run a spyware and virus scan. IF your can't afford one, download Ad-aware SE http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-2008/30... it is the best free one out there.

    Cheers

  15. It has nothing to do with how much you download, and everything to do with what you download and install. Viruses and spyware slow down a PC. Also, more importantly, Windows' registry gets cluttered up after a while. There are applications you can use to try and speed it up, but the only thing that really works for me is the occasional reformat and reinstall.

  16. You could try to clean up your pc

    http://www.defraggler.com/

    http://www.iobit.com/advancedwindowscare...

    http://www.freewarefiles.com/Glary-Utili...

I have more than 15 starting up programs running. My boot time is a little slow, but it does not make my pc slower.

  17. Too many applications and processes running at once, using up your RAM- not your hard drive. Sometimes a virus or trojan can use up ram. For a good cleaner (it doesn't help w/ram, but...) is BeClean- gets what most other cleaners don't.

To free up ram is risky if you don't know what you're doing. Message me and I'll write out how-to, or if you need more help, I'll walk you through it.

Also, if you're running VISTA- it has memory issues with IE. I recommend downloading the free, new and improved Firefox.

  18. temp files, recent files, c**p u dont need, lost registries, download ccleaner, also avg or avast and atf cleaner to delete ur temp browser files from internet explorer to opera good luck

  19. Go into you IE then to tools, internet options, delete temp files, cookies and history and also run a scan disc to get rid of all you can once it is completed. Also run a defragment on your computer over night while you sleep since that takes a while.

  20. because your hard drive may have too many files stored to it so the extra "weight" of the files slow your computer down.

  21. It could be anything, your ram speed, how long you keep it on, what kind of stuff you put on there, wether you defrag it or not, viruses, spyware... just name it, just try to keep you computer clean and neat if you dont want it to happen but it will eventually

  22. Since it's not memory, most likley a virus, try some sort of anti virus scan like spy ware or norton..also bring up task manager (cntl, alt delete) to see what you have running..

  23. Check http://www.pcoptimizerprodownload.com

With pc optimizer pro you can safely clean, repair and optimize your computer.

It will help improve your system performance.

  24. They get slower because RAM is being used. You can buy more ram, but first you should just take some c**p off it by doing a disc clean up ( start/ all programs/ accesories/ ?..) you'll see it, it's on the bottom some were in a folder called like utensils I think.

  25. Your PC is probably infected with adware & spyware if:

         * You have downloaded music online

         * Your PC is running extremely slow

         * You are pestered by those horrible popup ads

         * Your homepage keeps changing

Don't let people invade your privacy and slow down your PC!

If so, then take a few moments to download anti-spyware software to get rid of spywares and get rid of adwares if your computer is infected.
