  1. Why do liberals think they should tax the c**p out of small business and that's one of the reason they fail.

  2. And they run like h**l when those people took a risk and need help back up. This country was built on risks.

  3. I'm a conservative who owns a business, and I can tell you the government has never helped me in the 7 years I've been in it.

And if I had a problem, they wouldn't help.

  4. Why do liberals believe that our economy should be run on illegal drugs, gambling and prostitution

  5. Why do liberals think that the government owes them everything and that anyone who is making a good living in their own business should be giving back most of their earnings so that they can support those who don't want to work or who feel that they are entitled to something they didn't earn?  Conservatives do believe that hard work pays off and that running your own business is something to be proud of; something which should be rewarded; not something for which you should be penalized with higher taxes and more expected of you than is justifiable.  Why also do liberals feel as if we don't need to follow the law of the land? Send the illegals home and let them come into this Country the proper way.  Immigrants have rights but, the illegal immigrants should not have everything handed to them; they should be arrested and sent home.  They should not be permitted to jump ahead of the people who have followed the rules and come here legally.  They should not have access to free medical care, low income housing, etc. and should positively not have the right to get driver's licenses and vote.

  6. It's my understanding that Republicans believe in limited taxation and business ownership because that's what this country was founded on.

I'm not a conservative but I can see how that concept might appeal to people.  My personal opinion is that it's not feasible for everyone to own a business unless we all go back to agrarian lifestyles and farm strictly for ourselves. If everyone owns a business that depends on the patonage of our fellow citizens. I don't see how our Keytonian economic system would function.  You cannot have an economy where everyone sells and no one buys.  I also think limited taxation sounds nice but became obsolete when our country's population   exploded.  We all have to support roads, clinics, libraries, public schools, and social programs that the majority of the population will benefit from.  Just my two cents.

  7. Real simple answer.  People that have the capacity to own and operate a business need to have excessive taxes and regulations removed so that they can operate the business profitably.  That way, they can employ the people that don't have the necessary skills to own their own business.  When people start a business that fails in the first year or two, the ones that are driven will start over again after determining why the business failed.  The others will resign themselves to working for others.   There is nothing wrong with that.  People need to accept their strengths and weaknesses and choose a career that will make the most of their talents.

  8. It's all about image.

Much like the abortion issue, they like the fight, but don't care about what happens after.

  9. running your own business isn't for everyone.  i know the hours are brutal sometimes!  i'm in my third year of owning and operating my own daycare.  it's hard work, but working with kids is really rewarding!  :)
