The cop yelled at her cause she should have watched the truck when IT WAS CHANGING LANES!!!! She isn't suing since she HOPES her injuries go away and she doesn't like being mistreated!@&???!!!!

  1. Because they like to establish alpha dog status and don't like to be talked back to by women. I've seen this cop pull over two ladies who were on their way to the beach and only wearing bikinis. The issue wasn't that big of a deal but he made them sit almost butt-naked while he "checked" the car. If it was two dudes he would've been more tactical-like. It's also simply because women pose less of a threat.

  2. I don't know if bully is the best term for your situation.

Some people, men in particular, have deeper and louder voices that may seem bullying.  Also, at the time of the accident, you may have been emotionally upset.  This is normal.  Everyone can get emotionally upset when they have an accident.  Emotion can cause unexpected thoughts and actions.

I, in no way, am justifying the officer's actions towards you (or your friend).  I am just giving you another perspective with which to analyze the situation.

    Hope I helped.

  3. Because then can and they know that most women wont do or say anything which in my opinion is completely wrong.

  4. I think cops in general must have that authoritative attitude. Even female cops are that way. I went to court with my mother a few weeks ago and it was the female officer that was the bully. I just ignored her and didn't take it personal.

I've been pulled over by males and the same thing. They are very "authoritative" period. Just doing their job I suppose.

Any accident I've been in, male cops have been extremely helpful. They are most helpful and very nice when asking for directions or help. I live in NYC.

  5. I don't think they do very often. I was in a car accident and the police were really helpful and friendly to me, and reassured me that what had happened was not my fault.

  6. Because they don't like women drivers.

  7. they don't women just consider anything abuse of some kind

  8. I, too, don't believe the officer was yelling.  Perhaps the noise from passing traffic was such that he had to speak louder in order to be heard.

Secondly, it is your obligation as the operator of a motor vehicle to be aware of traffic all the way around you.  This includes to the rear, sides and other locations.  Considering the number of people (male and female) who can't seem to pilot a vehicle without ratchet-jawing on a cell phone, reading newspapers and other publications, putting on makeup, or blaring the stereo beyond any reasonable level, it isn't surprising that you may have been distracted.

Driving is a full-time job. Almost anything can draw your attention from it, and that makes you a threat against the safety and security of every other motorist having the misfortune of being on the same roadway as you.
