Why do cowboy fans.....

Why do cowboy fans talk so badly about other teams and they claim that the cowboys are americas team and they talk badly about other players? Then they dont give any reason why they think that. If they are so good how come they havent won a playoff game since the early 90's?

Well, Cowboys fans are naturally arrogant. I don't know exactly why, but they seem to be born with it. I guess they dis on other teams because it makes them feel better. They claim Dallas is America's team because of a documentary that came out in the early seventies that called the Cowboys "America's Team," and because of their popularity (though there are other teams that are just as popular so...). As much as I hate to admit this, they are pretty good, they just choke at the end (usually something to do with Romo.)

First of all they didn't win 12 "super bowls" they won 9 NFL championships and 3 super bowls get your facts right and we of course are america's team your all just jealous and with any great dynasty like the cowboys of the 90's they have to fall just like those patriots will soon. I don't see the packers worring to much about football lately they are to busy worrying about a player who is supposed to be retiered.

We have won 5 Superbowls and we ARE America's team.  Most of the hatred is jealousy!  That's okay though.  I'm very confident in being a Cowboys fan for over 30 years and I live in the Philly area!

The PaCKers won 3 Super Bowls, not 12. They may have won 9 NFL championships but those aren't Super Bowls. So the Cowboys have more Super Bowl wins.

It wasn't the fans that penned America's Team on the Cowboys a*****e,it was the media,as for winning playoff games since the 90's,how many teams can even claim they've been in the playoffs,only 3 teams can claim they won 5 super bowls,and the Cowboys are one of those 3,put that in your pipe and smoke it

because they're obnoxious rednecks or bandwagons that don't really take the time to learn anything about football.  they just hear about tony romo and t.o. all the time, and because they are a storied franchise is why they get that much publicity in the first place.  but the last playoff game they won was in '96 (actually january '97) which is not exactly the early 90's, and the reason they haven't won since is because they were horrible for a while after that and their supossed big game players choke in actual big games, hence t.o. and romo being absolutely terrible against the giants last year.

It all started back in the days of Tom Landry and Roger "the Dodger" Staubach but even if they go another dozen or so years not winning a playoff game, they'll still act the way you described.
