Why do dentist use mercury in the fillings or any toxic material for that matter?

They use it because it is inexpensive and they don't know any better.

The fda, dental assoc, and ama have all misguided and lied to dentists and doctors for far too long.  The FDA recently was forced to change the info they give about amalgam fillings.  They now say they are not safe for children or pregnant women.  That is a start, I guess.  It won't be long before they admit the whole truth. They cause diseases and brain and organ damage.  

I SHOULD KNOW, I never "bought into" the mercury connection until it happended to me.  I used my research skills and found the best method to confirm;  an experiment.  I had a severe reaction after an amalgam filling was drilled.  I initially thought it was a fibromyalgia flare but after about a week and a complete change in my personality to a rageaholic, no loving feelings, constant band headache, uncontrollable irritability, not feeling well, enough to want to just die, I knew this was no fibro flare.  I called my dentist, who also was aware of the allegations but was skeptical like I, and he said we were not going any further until a complete resolution.  Well, I had to figure out what the best course of treatment was based on 100;s upon 100's of research papers out there, many many personal testimonies of healing after their hg was extracted from their organs and brains and washed out of their bodies, and much more research on supplements(I already knew of the help they can give if used correctly.)  I landed on the most humane way to get mercury out of your body and more importantly, your brain;  a script for dmsa, to remove from your body and alpha lipoic acid for the brain, as it is fat soluble so it crosses into the brain.  I went immediately on ala, msm, and a liver detox protocal, felt much better, went off for urine test, got worse again, back on, minus msm due to the fact that hg needs a disulfur molecule and that has a single only and also methylates the mercury which is a more dangerous form, and am feeling better again.  It will be a long road, I understand, but I am on track.  Just go to youtube and search for smoking tooth if you want to see for yourself.

Please, do not be ignorant of the facts any longer as you are giving your opinion based on downright misleading, so called reputable organizations and the gov.  No one wants to admit they let and used a product that was not only hurting people but also killing.

BECAUSE MERCURY FORMS A STABLE NON-REACTIVE MIX WHEN COMBINED WITH LEAD IN SILVER FILLINGS AND BECAUSE IT COSTS PRACTICALLY NOTHING IN MATERIAL COST FOR THE  DENTIST.
