Why do detroit residents walk in the middle of the street with their backs to the traffic?

This question is for detroit residents why are the pedestrians in detroit excessively walking in the middle of city streets blocking traffic. it is so annoying to have to go around a pedestrian thats walking right in the middle of the road with no regard for the motorist or their safety these moorons have such nerve to stare down in your vehicle as if u were wrong for driving down the road. just what exactly is wrong with walking on the sidewalk.Is this a knew thrill seeker for people are bored and not so bright.

because they are stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! get them a gun with some 6 bullet and tell them to spin it and pull the trigger at there head and see if they are lucky enough
