  1. to keep there muscles warmed up for the next dive..

  2. To warm up, wash off, relax, and get the stress off by talking. Also warm=active cold makes you slow.

  3. they take a shower after each dive to clear themselves from any chemicals in the water that may have got onto their bodies at the end part of the dive. i.e the smooth entrance into the water.

  4. Wash the pool chemicals off.

  5. Maybe they don't like the chlorine? o_O

  6. the main reason is because of the big temperature difference between the water in the pool and the air...so when they get out of the pool it tightens their muscles, so taking a hot shower relaxes them and keeps them warm.

some of them also do it because they don't really like the chlorine on them

    well that's what i've heard.
